04 Sierra No Aux on Radio (factory avail?)
I'm looking for a factory radio for 2004 Sierra with aux input so I can play audio books from Ipad. Did they make a factory radio with Aux?
(my current factory radio has aux button but no aux input jack) Oh and my CD player does not work so, I cant use one of those aux adapters that uses CD unit as a slave. Thanks for any help |
Re: 04 Sierra No Aux on Radio (factory avail?)
The aux button was for a remote cassette player(that your truck may or may not have). The aux input wasn’t available until the next generation of trucks(2007).
There are companies hat add aux inputs to older radios. I have 2 from 1factory radio for my 96 and 99. They work great. They look factory and they play everything. They look a lot better than the cheesey aftermarket radios. |

For the OEM deck, an add-on unit like this is perfect:

You can get refurbished Delco radios with aftermarket 3.5 AUX jacks and even A2DP Bluetooth music streaming on evilbay.
