Put the front end almost back together but with no motor or weight I had no luck with the coil springs. Did get the rear end bolted back in with the springs and shocks mounted. Anyone know if there is a left and right spindle, I say no as they look identical to me.

Working on the motor and trans now. Had to send the trans through a parts washer, that crap on there would not come off. I stood in one spot with a 4000 PSI pressure washer and it didn't do anything. Motor is bored 30 over with new everything so should be good for the life of this truck now.

Just catching up on my thread, restored my AC oil cap, although I believe the decal is the wrong one. I believe the right one is blue/white , anyone weigh in.Hopefully this weekend I will mate the motor trans with the frame to give me some room in the shop.

Rebuilt my AC delco starter with cheap american starter guts. I had two here and thought I would try it and it works great so I get to keep my numbers matching original starter.

Awesome Build LT1. Can't wait to get started on mine but have to get the garage finished first. I have question what paint did you use for the engine? I'm not going back stock but love the engine color!
