71-87. 88-91 in V series. Obviously 3/4 ton or 1 ton to keep your 8 lug bolt pattern. Dana 44 up until 1980 or so then 10 bolt. The K30/V30 had the Dana 60. 4x4 K30 first came out in '77 if memory serves. 60's bring almost 5+ times the $ a 44 or 10 bolt sells for. You may need to use a conversion u-joint and the 60 might need a little lift to get the driveshaft with enough clearance.

If you use a single wheel 1 ton 14 bolt ff out of a 70's or 80's chev, it will bolt right in without moving the perches. Just sayin....

He said front. But yes, one ton '73 and up has 40.5" spring centers just like '67-'72 4x4. All others '73-'87 have 42.5" same as 2x4 '67-'72. Shock mounts need to be changed regardless.
