I am also a member of the Luv truck forum ( imagine that ) . This truck was originally built local to me and was a father and son high school project . It at on time had a tune port motor in it . I was sent a link by member on here and a local friend Daniel . I reached out and made contact and after looking at the truck and setting up the deal . I ended up with the truck . I loaded up the truck and reached out to the original owner Chris and offered the truck back to him . Many of us wish we had the chance to get that "one" back . Basically offered up the truck for purchase price , plus some fuel. Original owner passes . I got the truck , a new ladder bar set up and the Moroso water pump alternator set up for what I thought was cheap. Here are some picks of the truck in it prime.

They just keep coming to me . I bought this one for 3 digit money . The headers and ladder bars were worth what I paid for it! I have a 8.1 liter and a 4L80E . I really want another 67-72 full size , but these just keep coming .

Chassis builder got into a bad motorcycle wreck . Whole project is on hold .

Well unfortunately my chassis builder couldn't overcome his injuries from the accident . Lost a great guy for sure.

Thank you , He has an 11 YO daughter who has no parents right now . We are all planning a benefit coming up to compile a trust fund for her . He was a good friend of mine and I cant remember ever going more than 3 weeks without having lunch with him over the last say 10 years . I have some updated pictures ill get up in the future . Just not into it right now.

Thank you for the thoughts . His memorial is tomorrow .

I have found someone to finish this for me (cage and back half), but it will be febuary before it even gets hauled to him due to his back log . I have a month or so of odd and end work on it before he gets it cleaning stuff up and making it light .

Mounted the rear tires again and bought a set of front rims . I will post up some pics next week of the clean up . It is sitting next to my garage in the weather and believe it or not it snowed the other day .
