figured i would make my own thread for my truck

1994 chevy v6 4.3L 5 speed manual RWD
miles 68 000


so far on my project

1=new suspension front and rear shocks
2= new ignition coil
3= new distributer rotor and cap
4=new front brake pads
5=4 new goodyear all terrain tires
6=new serpentine belt
7=new pulley tensioner and idler pulley
8=new spark plugs new HT leads
9=new batt
10= new alternator
11= full exhaust system "not installed yet" with flowmaster super 40 muffler
12= new door strikers
13= outer paint striped ready for paint work next year.
14= new fuel filter and air filter
15= heavy duty clutch installed new throw out bearing full kit.
16= all fluids flushed renewed including diff oil.
17 new stereo installed pull out cd player and bearcat cb installed. + 2 new rear speakers

issues on truck exhaust system is shot , new parts in box to replace soon enough, no ac system leaky line at condenser fitting replace next year.

may have to replace water pump and oil pump soon, might switch to high volume units not sure yet, engine runs good for now.

need to replace rocker cover gaskets soon as well.
new radiator hoses and thermostat need done, new temp sensor as well.

need to fix and replace headliner,also sun visors.

also a few dings one in bed still to knock out before painting and tail gate has a few dings, but apart from that body lines are great shape and rust free.

i drive this truck everyday to and from work, even with the issues she's coming along runs very well on highway roads.

positives on this truck v6 is very good on gas , i have the 35 gallon tank installed. once up to highway speed she purrs along nicely at a steady 65 75 when needed.

manual gears i love for the joy of driving imo.

negatives

slow of the mark granny gears 1 and 2. well this is manual not built for fast take off speed really.

here's a small video me peeling the bad paint off this summer,
much of the paint was so bad it was easy to scrape off,
some areas did require aircraft stripper ,great product.

was a slow massive job to get where i am so far.

I like the black gloss grille. I painted mine a bright silver with clear. I like the old seal beams too, they never yellow

truck is very clean underneath, those cross members are only light surface rust yet to be jet washed off.
