Custom removable 3rd row seat?

Has anyone installed a easily removable 3rd row seat in their 'Burb? I am not really concerned with a stock seat but perhaps a '73-'91 that had the folding back. My '67 already has a second row from an '86 which is very useful. I am looking to increase my passenger capacatity, but still keep the hauling capability when needed. Sectioning in a floor mount with the quick release tabs is not really an easy option because of the plywood floor.

Any ideas or pics are very much welcomed!

We had some Mopar minivans at work years ago that had some seats that could be possibly be adapted to our plywood floors. With a little luck the spacing would miss the stiffeners under the plywood. Or maybe mount them in a piece of plywood that was full width and 2 foot wide (front to rear) and bevel the front and rear edges and not have to cut holes in the factory flooring. Just throwing out ideas. I've never done it or even wandered through a wrecking yard looking for ideas on how to do this.
I found this video showing the style we had. They came in a bunch of sizes.

I am using a folding seat out of a square body Blazer. Richard sold me a seat crossmember for it to bolt to. It folds up neatly behind the second seat.

At this point I haven't worked out the clasp yet.

I used a 3rd row seat out of 03 Suburban. Added some spacers so it will function like factory. It lays down, folds up, or it can be removed.

Not a bad idea. Thanks for the input!

I bet that will blend right in and look period correct. If you think about it, after you get the clasp done, post up some pics. I would love to see it. I will not be tackling mine yet for awhile. Still trying to get ideas. Thanks!

Nice!

Thanks for the pictures. I was looking at those seats. The integrated shoulder straps are a huge plus. Thanks again!!
