Very nice!!!
My 68 has most of those options, except mine is 1/2 ton.
Mine is a 396/Th400/PS/PB/AC optioned.

I bought mine in 1980. Yours looks better right now than mine did back then. Mine needs a complete rebuild. Body, engine, transmission...everything.....

Looking forward to work done to yours!!!

Re: My 1968 C-20 Golden Anniversary Project

Now some small desasters:
Under time pressure batterie wrong connected (human error because the kill switch was mounted in the minus line -for me unimaginable. Effect: Smoke in the motor room, Result : 1x new batterie 1 x new regulator= very anoying.

Regarding search lights:
Hi Brian, this picture was created during the Herschey event days, indeed I have only one and a 1/2" drill, hard enough.

Regarding seats:
Yes I have removed all.
New on the seat is
Seat 12 cm Kaltschaum ( 4,7 " cold foam, polyurethane foam or poly foam)
Back rest 4 cm Kaltschaum ( 1,5")
All ordered by a local upholsterer,
Upholstering tools too, see picture.

Regarding CST guy:
Phil, thanks, would be all the time also a little bit from you inside and kept in memory.
By the way do you have an idea why brown leader was also below the seat?

Below original cover? I never went that far... I stopped removing layers when I saw the original.

If you search in the internet for engine suffix -YV you will find often 327 m/t (for manual trans.). This is wrong in my opinion, see also Chevrolet truck parts catalog, Oct 1969-
It's clear stated C10-C20 3-speed Automatic and this is what I see in practice on my truck.

Electrical part some issues, missing power on the sealed beam due old greace in the front gear. Solved. One short circuit in the rear still under investigation.
