Rubber door bumper location and size?

Anyone got a pic of the rubber door bumpers on a truck.
I bought the kit but can seem to figure which hole is the location for the bumper.
See pic. Need locations for these 3.
Thanks!

Not sure why three. Both my 71 & 72 use two per door. You should have two holes. One above the latch plate, one near the bottom of the door jam. The correct bumper is the one on top in your pic.

Two of those are for the tailgate. The lower two in your pic. One of each for both sides

There are 2 of each. I just took pick of one of each of them.

I am pretty sure they was three holes per side on the 67 and 68 if it still has the original rockers.

My '69 has always had 3 holes in each door jamb. However, from day one, only the top and bottom holes have had bumpers like the top one in the post 1 picture.

Really stupid question but how do you get those into the holes? mine seem too big to fit. I bought ones made for 67-72 chevy trucks.

I tried this but it just seems like the pointed part is just too big. I press as hard as possible and it goes in a bit but can never get the whole pointed piece in. Just smashes down

How about tiny flat head screw driver or pick and only push on the inner edge of the rubber where is locks in. If that makes sense

I have had luck using silicone spray or silicone plumbers grease on the bumper and then pushing it in with a blunt Torx screwdriver or allen wrench of appropriate diameter inserted into the hole in the bumper.

I tried this as well. What size are the bumpers supppsed to be? Mine are 1/2 inch at the pointed part.

Mine are also 1/2"..... and just below that tapered section, the part that will rest in the hole, is 5/16".

And you got it to fit? Must just need to lube it up and slam it in there.

Not yet, the truck needs to be painted before I put the new bumpers in. Just lube 'em up and press one side in with a small screwdriver, then work your way around.

Just pushed one side in and pressed and they popped in. Still messing with the top spot on each side but the doors already close alot easier. Thanks for the help
