questions on this rear sway bar

1 Attachment(s)
I pulled this rear sway bar from a 2wd square body blazer that had leafs hopeing i could get it too fit my coil spring rear on my 67.

I searched "rearsway bar"and all i get are bars from camaros and a few am bars this one seems too be a odd ball,i havent seen one like this yet.
the only way i think i would be able too mount it would be too have the "arms" faceing rearward and the hoop part under the rear.all because of the shocks being in front of the axle and the way the rubber line atatches too the rear on my 71 rear axle and the super track bar all get in the way.
faceing rearward the bushing eyelets look like they will line up with the oval holes between the slanted rear crossmember and the really thin lightweight crossmember

has anyone used one of these in a coil spring application? If so how did you mount it?

or how about what bar is this:lol:?
I havent seen one of these before and it surely wasnt a factory peice on the blazer

the end links are k put but the clamp bushings are in good shape and the u bolts would need replaceing

Re: questions on this rear sway bar

after i started this thread i played around with this bar.
i just dont think it will work without moveing the shocks too the outside of the frame and the brake lines routed a differnt way than the way the factory did it.
i tried it completely reversed an up side down (my first thought) and the hoop on the bar just sitts too close too the ground for my likeing allthough its higher than my scrub line and my lower relocaters(lowest point) it being directly center an low just isnt good. It would fit great if i would've planned on useing it in the begining of the frame build but afterwards with all new stuff on the frame i'm not going back too remove/rework the lines an shocks

it should fit any leaf spring truck just fine as thats what it came from silly me for thinking it would fit my coil spring truck but i guess it doest hurt too try.

i did another seach here on the board and if its the same as the two others i saw here many pages back it looks as its a aftermarket bar that was sold for 4x4 leaf trucks I dont remember who made it though

I guessed i rolled around in the mud like a lil' piggy to get this off for somebody else's benifit

guys thanks for the bumps though
