I think it's a 64 but it was last registered as a 63 when it was on the road.

Its not uncommon for a GMC to be titled for the wrong year. One of My 1964 built GMCs is titled as a 1966 and I bought it from the original owner, Start checking dates on the castings of the engine trans and rear end , they will either be 64 if its early built or 65.
