Newbie trying to figure seats

Hey guys. I have been here for a cpl years and have never actually needed to post due to the ground that you all have covered over years.
However my search has stalled. My burb two late model buckets and nothing else. I am looking at 2008 full suburban set up. I cannot find if anyone has attempted this with or without success. I am certain it will require fab, but i am most concerned w fitment of width and ride heights for back 2 rows. Any help/feedback is huge. The seats are good enough shape i dont need upholstered, so that is a huge plus. Thx!
Have 1968 burb for reference

Welcome Gugs68...I'm kind of new too, so I can't say for sure but I think I read some posts saying that this WILL work (Suburban, Yukon and Escalade). If I locate the thread, I'll let you know, however, someone with more knowledge than me will probably fill you in before I find it! I'm debating between what you are doing or restomoding my original frames to incorporate shoulder straps for all passengers as my grandkids still need them. The 2007 and up GM second and third row seats already have built-in shoulder straps for all...so you've got that covered!

Welcome aboard! You might look at FrizzleFry's Tahoe thread. I seem to remember he used some later model seats in his build.

Thanks guys. OmG, frizzle's build! I wouldn't be able to cut a piece of paper and put it back together that seamlessly.
Unfortunately, i have no seat frames or anything to try and reuse.

Re: Newbie trying to figure seats

I installed front and middle buckets and 3rd row from 05 escalade in my 71 burb. Fronts bolted right in with a few shims. Middle buckets took some work due to the step in floor but came out awesome. I then made brackets for floor to mount removable 3rd row seat which is nice to be able to take in and out easily

Would love to see pics of your set-up, 04ls1gto. I'm still struggling with what way I want to go!

Thanks 04ls1gto, nice fit! Looks good from behind...show us more when you get time.

This is what I'm starting with: Was told the front is from an '89? 2nd and 3rd rows are original but seat bottoms are shredded from desert heat!
