How to preserve the wood on 62?

What have you all done to preserve the wood on the suburbans & Panels?
I was thinking lots of wood oil something like for a wooden patio.

I often wondered the same thing, but with all the grease and oil coming off omy engine, my floor is well "oiled". Another thing I have thought of was having bedliner sprayed on the bottom. I had the underside of my hood done.

I am planning on coating it afterward but was thinking for the wood to be "filled up" before.

You may want to be careful of what you apply before coating. I would think any type of oil would cause a problem with the undercoating adhering to the wood.

If I ever get to this step on my Suburban I plan to just use bedliner directly on the wood.
