how to clean origonal paint to touch up.
 

My truck has the origonal paint on it. I washed it with Dawn dishwashing detergent. Now when I go to touch it up with Krylon paint it kida beads up and does not go on uniformally .

so what to clean paint surface with befor touching up?

Grease and wax remover, not sure how small a can you can get, i usually get a gallon and use it for other projects, if not then maybe a little vinegar and water, but then again if you have too smooth a surface, it (Krylon) may just peel off anyway, post a picture of what its doing if possible,
