Need AC help

Any one got underhood pics of a truck with working AC? when I bought my truck from the previous owner he said it was a factory AC truck, while the unit is in place it is not wired up, I also do not have any dash vents or the holes where they were originally.
I think he was full of it, but I would still like to get it working.
Thanks for any help

I would suggest getting an assembly manual and service manual for you truck. The information is very helpful and the illustrations will show more than a pic.

Have you seen this?

This is a good thread on A/C options. I'd be interested to hear what your fianl solution is.

Don't know what your budget is for this, but if you don't have the holes in the dash, sounds like you don't have an A/C cab to me. If you are going to do A/C, and you don't have all the parts from stock (or even if you do) you may want to go with Vintage Air. I had an A/C truck to start with, but it didn't work. I started over with a VA kit. It is all new stuff, not over 30 years old, is more compact (I can now change plugs easily in my big block) and blows COLD! I figured if I wound up having to replace a lot ofstuff, I would easily spend about the same money. Just my 2 cents worth.
