1957 correct craft special
 

I saw a few other boats on here decided I’d post one I did a few years back, every board every screw was taken a part some of the framework was replaced. originally a Cypress Gardens boat even the trailer Was original 1957 correct craft Attachment 1912378

Beautiful job. I've done a 52 Chris Craft 17' utility and a 56 Lyman 15' outboard. I love old wooden boats. They are like fine furniture.

Thanks for the compliment, it was is in pretty bad shape when I got it in a trade but after some research I found out that it was fairly rare boat,but when I found out that it was the original trailer and had come from Cypress Gardens I decided to restore it. I received an invitation to the correct craft reunion at sea world where I got a first place in my year class as well as best of show. And by the way that picture makes it look like the axel on the trailer is bent but it’s because it’s a picture of a picture
