Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
Well to save time why don't you tell us what you want or are after.

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
I am a fan of Pull-N-Save for items like that. OEM quality and thrift store prices.
I couldn't tell you exact models, but I have successfully installed wire loom protectors onto rigs that didn't come with them. Usually cost me like a buck ...sometimes they just give me little stuff like that. |

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
They make these wireless from jam to door type but the only problem is when the door is open nothing works.
Never have used them myself, but I've seen them on a few builds. Personally I think after awhile the contact surfaces might fail. https://autoplicity.com/3446353-keep...UaApDnEALw_wcB |

I thought about them but haven’t found anyone that has actually used them.

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
I made a video of my door jamb switch install. I have not done many videos before, so sorry about the quality and editing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqjlVkCcwLE

I have the Nu-Relics looms. I bought them off eBay and did not know the brand st that time. They work very well. Here is a pic, sorry it’s sideways.

Great Thank you for the picture.

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
I have a factory style power window harness and an aftermarket power lock harness running through it.

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
I like how the Nu-Relics ones look. Is there any method or tool for drilling nice round holes for it without removing the doors?

I used the craftsman 19.2 volt drill with a hole saw in the pic. It was tight but it worked.

I got mine from GM parts, there off a 2003 GMC Ex cab door.

Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
How do those attach? Is there a groove like the Nu-relics type?
|
Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
Great ideas and mounting location pictures. I have ordered a set of the nu-relics. But I like the ex cab ones. How large of a hole do they need?
|
Re: Door Jamb Wire Loom or Boot
Yes there was a groove on each end. I do not remember how big of a hole i drilled. I did use a unibit to drill the holes. They fit good tight. GM part # 15326220
