GMC 8ft 8inch Bed & Tow with a TH400 tranny

Does anyone know how many of the GMC version of the Chevy Longhorns were made in 1972? What option was it called on the glove box label?

Oh - can you use a 2 wheel tow dolly to pull a pickup with a TH400 tranny?
I believe it does not have positraction.

If your towing it on the drive wheels its not good for your tranny.If its a one time thing just remove the driveshaft and your good to go.

Definitely pull the driveshaft. The trans will lock up otherwise.
