Cracked 250 Block

Hello,

I was cleaning up the 250 and noticed this crack. What do you think, is the block junk? It didn't leak water before, but I haven't really driven the engine yet. I didn't notice last night, but from the pic looks like it's been repaired before.

Anyway, trying to decide what to do, so looking for opinions from the experts.

It does look like somebody attempted to repair it before with welding and a threaded insert, plus the crack moved its way around. I'd be inclined to look for another block

I think that's what I'm going to do. I had a previous thread that the #1 cylinder had low compression. This must be the reason. that Bolt doesn't hold the torque. I've been craigslisting small block chevy's. Wish GM still sold the 350 target motors.
