Lower than lowered?
I have a 69 c10 SWB that I lowered using 2.5" CPP spindles & 2" front springs, and 4" springs with 2" blocks in the back. It sits pretty nice now, but the bug is biting again and I think I want to go lower. I know I will have to do a notch in the rear if I do anything more (I should probably have it now honestly), but does anyone have a write-up of static drops beyond 4/6 ~ 5/7? Does that even exist without just going to bags>?
Here is how it sits now (The 22"s are on it currently): https://imgur.com/a/1IEH6RZ Thanks in advance. |
Re: Lower than lowered?
Everyone offers a kit that can get you there, but be careful what you ask for...
With 4.5" front and 7" rear drop (no c-notch, leaf spring flip) on mine, I have no issues. But when you go to 5" or more in the front it may not align and with 7"-8" in the rear you must notch depending on the front. But if you want to drop the rear a little more, get a 5" or 6" spring. If the 6 is too low, you can pull the 2" block for a 1". But I'd stay 4.5"/7" to keep the truck as useful as possible. |
