were all BBC 402 engines all High Performance.. I noticed when I did a cam change back in Feb. that when I pulled the timing cover in was casted in the block High performance....just curious.:chevy:

No. I've seen it on blocks that were out of a truck or low-horse passenger car.

All the old big blocks have that behind the timing cover, regardless if it's a 2 or 4 bolt block, a 450 HP 454 or a 2 Bbl 396....or a 366

The only thing High Performance that I remember about a 402 was it's ability to suck the gasoline outta the tank Faster Than A Speeding Bullet...;)

Has this truck seen any drag time at Scribner ? I used to run at Scribner, noticed you are from Falls City, not sure how close you are to Scribner Dragway.... heck, I dont even know if they still have the track...I raced there back in the late 70's..... I ran the super Gas and Super Comp classes when they first came out with the pro tree....

I like the big block....you need any tires ? LOL!!!!!!
