What mufflers to use? Throaty but not overly load

Getting ready to have an new mufflers put on my 72 K10. Looking for something that sound tight and right but not annoying loud. If I was 18 again it would be a no brainier, series 40 flowmaster. But even those are to much for my taste these days. What do you all suggest? Series 50 or using some sort of magnaflow? I'm running headman headers off a 260hp good wrench 350. Please let me know what you think , I really would like the to get the stuff ordered this week.

I used Magnaflow LINK on my truck, I'm really happy with how they sound.

Sounds great, what series of mufflers did you use?

Flowtech Terminator. They're a chambered style, but they don't drone like Flowmasters. I've been happy with them. Sorry I don't have a clip.

Dynomax Hemi Turbo mufflers. 20" case. Plenty of flow and an actual muffler too!

Drove a 5L Mustang home from Denver, a pretty good trip and the Magnaflows were just loud enough to sound nice but werent annoying at all. No drone, I would look into them.

If you used to like the 40 series Flowmasters when you were 18, you'll like the new Super 44's. They sound like original flowmasters without the drone

Depends what you mean by throaty.. I put these on my truck stock 350 4bbl and to me the truck it sounds like a V8 4bbl with duals should sound.
