Painting a bed with a metal floor

How do most of you guys paint the inside of your beds? Rotisserie? Paint it in pieces? Stand it on end? Tried to search and couldn’t find anything. Thanks

When i primed mine the 1st time it was on sawhorses very aggravating....then I decided I'd just stand it on end or on its side and do it.....then I built a rottiserie.....rotisserie is absolute best way...

As Greg said, rotisserie is best option, next best would be a dolly to stand the bed on. This version lets you get to all surfaces except the front, so that part would need to be done separately. Not my picture or work, an online grab...

Rotisserie works best if you have access to one.

I remember doing this same thing a hundred years ago when I was just a kid. I had no rotisserie or even the means to remove the bed from the truck. I simply did all the prep work and then broke the actual squirting of paint into separate stages, with the bed floor being last. It came out perfect, but I should mention that it was just white single stage enamel. Kinda hard to screw that up too badly. Lol.

Don’t have a rotisserie, been doing it in stages. Sanded the inner bedsides and masked them off, then laid them on sawhorses and sprayed the exterior. Then sprayed the floor and carefully installed the bedsides and front panel. Last step will be to spray the inside and front panel. Hopefully it’ll come out nice

looks nice! What do you do about the seam sealer between the inner bedside and floor? Do you just not reseal it?
