Frame swap?

I have a 72 K10 short box with a frame that has extensive damage to the front frame rails. I also have a 67 GMC two wheel drive short box leaf spring frame. How much work is it to convert everything to the GMC frame? Obviously I have all the spring hangers etc and I realize the frame isn’t indented for power steering on the GMC frame

Here's a few threads about that.

Not too difficult, just lots and lots of measuring. I swapped the 4x4 suspension/drivetrain from a '73 K10 to my '66 frame.

Very doable, especially with the 2wd rear being leaf

Re: Frame swap?

Like everyone else has said very doable. I would also suggest adding the ORD (or similar) steering box frame plates and crossmember brace to hopefully avoid future issues around the steering box. I’m fixing said issues presently on my second truck (69 SWB K10) and it’s not real fun. Better to get it before it happens.
