Hi finally decided to fully restore my 78. A little history on this truck, it was bought by by Brother in 1978 and passed on to his daughter in the early 90's.
At some point it was restored by her and her husband. I bought the truck from them in 2014 and brought it back to Wis. The 400 now a 406 ant the tb400 were rebuilt 2 yrs ago. My plans are to get it down to the frame and build it back up. I decided to post it here as I plan on using lots of help from the sponsors and members on this forum. The truck is at a young guys place this is just starting out doing truck restorations. We are just at the tear down stage. Cab and box going to be sand blasted next week. :gmc2: |

Neat truck. Why the sandblasting? Trying to get ahead of potential rust issues or not happy with current body work conditions? Going back to brown?

I would like a chance to buy the seats/console when available. Same color as my '78 GMC interior. I can message you if you would like. Thanks, Casey

Finally got back to my truck after some major health issues with my self and my wife. tough getting old. I decided that I had to farm out most of the work to get it done in a timely matter. The seat I did myself.
