My free 2000 tahoe
 

Was given a 2000 tahoe 5.3 4l60e thing has 369k miles on it but hey ut was free and will sister my 2002 burb so far i know it needs a trans and has codes for bank 2 upstream o2 no activity which more likely is a broken wire a po300 misfire code which is probably intake and tune up really look forward to fixing this thing up

So far i found a jsed trans guy said truck had 150k on it but this is a reman tran next i got 150k motor from lkq recycling i broke every exhuat bolt which i did get out once i used ac delco rust chemical on them i resealed top end so far waiting on my rear main seal tool

Motor pics its clean i side i also repalced the knocm sensors with dephi units

well i'll give the one year update, i've replaced the abs module, and all the shocks, so far 3k miles on it and its running strong still just hit 373k miles on the dash so hopey will get anothe 300k

Well guys I'm at my 2 year update or a bit pass abs module didnt make it so I have to by another reman module also it lost a brake line on the frame so it got a complete stainless steel line kit and a new radiator.
Also had the gague cluster rebulited
Had a p0420 code come up on cats with less then 10k miles all new o2 sensors when motor was done the warranty process was horrible to the point they wanted videos and temp checks and a exhaust gas test done to make sure it not burning oil and I could not do any of these tests my shelf at my shop had to be done by another shop so I said forget it as nc now has new inspection laws that any vehicle 20 years or older is expect from the obd2 emission test just have to pass a safety inspection I had a buddy tune the cats out computer. I'm now at 379k miles only using 1 at of oil every 3k miles
