Flip front-end
1 Attachment(s)
Found this one on YouTube, anyone on here ever do this to a square body? I want to do a flip front with oe hood and fenders, I have a terrible back and would love not to have to lean and bend to work on the engine. As always many thanks for advice.

Re: Flip front-end
Flippers always loose their inner fenders so if your gonna drive it on the street Your engine's sure to suffer.

Using stock components, you're going to be dealing with a chunk of metal. Both incredibly heavy to lift, and would require a lot of fabrication to make it hold together.
These guys make a $1900 one-piece fiberglass tilt front end. Shipping could be rough, I'd imagine. http://www.e-bodyparts.com/Car-Hoods...hevy-Truck.htm I've seen youtube videos that detail the process of making your own fiberglass front end. Probably no cheaper, but it would be an interesting diy experience. |
