Asjustable Suspension
Okay everyone. I searched but have not found anything. So I must want to do something no one else has done and I cannot believe that is likely.
I want to take a stock 1999 k1500 suburban and lay frame up front for shows but have a normal ride height for travel on the road. Anyone know of a kit for this?

I would say air bags, but don't know of any specific kits off the top of my head.

Re: Asjustable Suspension
If Iím not mistaken, the K1500 Suburban came stock with torsion bars in 1999. I have a 2 door Tahoe K1500 and itís a torsion bar set up. There will be no off the shelf kit to do what you want. Ditch the K1500 for a C1500 and youíll have some options. Plus unless youíre running like 18Ē wheels or less, youíll have to tub the front the get that low.

Iím not sure how much thought and homework youíve done on laying frame with the 1988 and up trucks, but you need to learn some more because thatís fabrication work and not shelf kits.

Re: Asjustable Suspension
Just started looking into it a bit. It has Torsion bars. Does anyone make a kit to remove the keys and let the truck down with some type of mechanical device then raise back up and lock bars back into place? Other option would be to use bags I guess? But would have to remove torsion bars and fabricate bags to fit above Upper control arm? Anyone done or seen it?
