Blazer hitch

Leaning toward buying the Carolina Classics hidden hitch system for my blazer. Anyone used this one before? How’s fit and finish? Thanks, Steve

I bought one in 2015 and installed it myself.

I have a skid plate for my fuel tank and dual exhaust (side exit not rear); there are no fitment issues. The only modification necessary to the skid plate was to drill out the rear bolt holes to accept the much larger hitch bolts. All the parts are good quality.

Installing the hitch isn't the easiest. You will need to remove the skid plate. The tank can stay in although the forward most bolts are hard to tighten with the tank in place. Also, removing the rear suspension gussets takes some work, but it's a bolt and a few rivets if I remember correctly.

The hitch is almost completely hidden. The bottom corners of the side plates are just slightly visible below my factory bumper, but you really need to look for them.

I've towed boats and small trailers with mine and haven't had any issues. Highly recommend.
