Air Conditioning 1950 Chevy Truck 5.3 swap
 

We are finishing up our "Billie Jean" build. It's a 1950 Chevy 3100 with an S10 frame and a 5.3 swap. My question for everyone is what are you doing for air conditioning? I know there are all kinds of kits out there but I am not a fan of the complete systems with the cheap looking dash vent system. Basically want to know if anyone has done a similar swap and what they did with the a/c setup. Hope to get some good info! Thanks in advance.

I have been using Vintage Air under dash, Dirty Dingo brackets and a Sanden and hoses from a my local A/C shop

That looks nice. Pretty simple as well. Which specific unit is that under the dash?

Call V Air they will tell you which evaporator you need for your truck, it will fit
