top to bed seal surface

Don't remember if I ever introduced myself. I am from chalmette, La. now living in Ponchatoula, La., thanks to Hurricane Katrina. I have been lurking on this great site for a while, and have learned alot from all of ya'll. A few years ago my cousin gave me my Dads 1971 2wd blazer. After about 30 years of begging for it back. I have been working on it off and on and have now come to the part where I need to fit the top onto the bed. I need some help. I have new top seals from LMC and I cannot figure out how they are installed. First off, my top to bed sealing flange has been modified. I was told that there should be a groove in the sealing flange of the top. Mine has been filled in as was told by my cousin. Can someone show me a picture of what this surface should look like? Also, I cannot tell how the seal should be attached to the top. My seal was ordered for a double wall, which I have. It has a flap on one end and a 90 degree bend on the other end. This bend has a slot in it that appears to be used for something. Sorry, for the long? intro?.. But , I need some direction with this problem,Thanks ahead time.

I may have figured out the seal, but I could use a picture of the roof to bed seal surface of a double wall top. Also a picture of the b and c post area. The
way I was told the seal is installed seems to be a little short, but without some
pictures I may be wrong. Thanks, again..
