Frames and running gear all the same. Only differences in frames are 2wd or 4wd. Front sheetmetal and grill is different, rear tailgate is different, there are other small differences but nothing monumental.

Chevy parts are generally easier to find. You might want to look for a complete front clip.

Just FYI....you may already know but......a regular truck front clip and or components will fit the Jimmys and Blazers as well

The 68 chevy grill will fit the GMC fenders (the GMC 68-72 fenders are the same as 68 chevy fenders). So you would only need the 68 chevy grill, radiator support, hood, and hood latch. Some people have removed the GMC headlight buckets from the radiator support and said the chevy headlights would then mount on the support but I have never tried it.

Aren’t 67-68 different than 69-72 when it comes to the fenders? I prefers the 69 up look but some guys do like the 67-68. I do like the fact it is more on the all metal side vs the plastic grill.

The fenders are different for the blazers but not the GMC's. The GMC fender is the same as a chevy 68 fender (and the 67 except for the marker light).
