Airbag shock relocation questions

Am planning on using a raised bracket for the front shocks, but the rear is making my brain hurt.

Trailing arm suspension.
Channeled frame.
Removed crossmember that held the original shock mounts under the bed.
Occasional driver.

Would the best option be to build a new bracket under the axle u-bolts and to the rear of the axle or itoward the front of the axle?

Should the shocks point inward or vertical or outward?

Re: Airbag shock relocation questions

The best thing I hear, is to move them to the rear (behind the axle) and outside of the frame.

Re: Airbag shock relocation questions

There are numerous threads about this, do a search for rear shocks, and check out the "Make it handle" thread in the suspension section. As for shock orientation the more vertical the better.
