Looks like fiberglass, are there any weight savings with one of these over factory?

I just started fitting mine in last night. I should have it finished tonight or tomorrow. I'll post a couple of pics when I'm done. Minimal trimming so far.

Sorry for the delay...I got sidetracked by a rear dropmember.:D Anyways, here are a couple of pics. The tunnel fit really nice with minimal trimming. A little off the top of the hump at the firewall and a little at the back end and it fit right in. You can see a couple of spots where there is a slight gap (at the bend on the passengers side, and right above the gas pedal on the drivers side) but let's be real here...this truck is almost 55 years old. I am totally happy with it and highly recommend it if you need one!

a metal cut off wheel on your grinder works nice

I just used a grinder with a metal cutting wheel. wear a mask of course! I'm really happy with how well it fits. I used a bead of seam sealer all the way around it ( a little thicker at the bend near the gas pedal and on the other side as well) and it was good to go! I used the old tunnel to reference where to drill the holes and started off small until I knew I had them in the right spots. if it's clear under the truck you can also drill small pilot holes from the bottom (just be careful because you can crack the gel coat on top easily that way)

Is there any way I can get a 60-66 hump shipped to Alaska? 99645 or 99518

Re: Slosh Tubz now has high transmission humps!

perfect. I'm getting ready to cut out my rusty low hump to make room for my 5.3 - 4L60E swap.

Re: Slosh Tubz now has high transmission humps!

Any ideas on low humps? I swapped my 4x4 to 2wd and think a low hump would work. I put a metal version on my 4x4 truck that has a 3"body lift. Worked out great for transfer case linkage issues with twin sticks and such.

Which transmissions require a high hump in these trucks?

Most. I had to raise center of mine to accommodate T5 which is not much bigger than 3 on tree. Now with Porterbuilt crossmember moving everything up. Its maditory. But you can use small shell and cut as you go. My original v8 was in rear mount. So moving motor fwd might help.

Re: Slosh Tubz now has high transmission humps!

Yes, moving the engine forward would most likely cure my clearance issues but I wanted better weight distribution and more room at the radiator so i tucked the 5.3 as far back as I could.

I ordered my high hump yesterday....
