Remote starter
 
Has any one installed a remote starter on '82 c10 ?if so could you give me a basic idea of how you wires it in ? Thanks in advanced.

I just happened to have just checked out the sticky in this section about wiring a remote starter. Did you happen to have seen that? I'm not sure if it will pertain to your '82, as it was written wit newer trucks in mind. Just thought that it might help.

Remote as in what/where? The starter is controlled by the solenoid so power it from whatever you want.

Sorry for such little details it's a 82 c10 I've swapped an 5.3 ls based. I got it running and driving. But it's started to get a bit cooler and it would be nice to be able to start my truck with a remote starter fob. I'm not great with schamadica I need to know how hard would it be to wire it in and what wire does what under the column
