Ramjet 350 fuel rail hook up

It has been a long time since I have posted here. I actually thought my membership had expired and my 56 truck project got put on hold when I purchased a Nova.

Anyway glad to be back.

I am putting a 1956 1/2 ton body on a 1980 frame.

My question is can anyone provide some information on how to hook up the fuel lines to a ramjet 350 engine. I do not have the engine yet but now have the truck stripped down to the bare frame again, for the 6th or 7th time, and would like to make sure I have holes drilled in the frame correctly before I paint the frame.

I think the fuel lines screw into the back of the fuel rails but am not sure! I also want to run the fuel lines down the left side of the frame if that is possible.

Any assistance or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Barry

So sorry it looks like I posted in wrong place!

Should be in 1956 forum.

Maybe a moderator could move it over.

you are correct, both screw into the back of the fuel rails, iicr 3/8'' pipe thread
i believe i ran a 45* angled jic fitting for pressure and a straight fitting out the bottom of the regulator

it looks a little lonely in there :D

Thanks for the quick reply.

So it really doesn't matter what side of the frame I ran the fuel lines on!

Does one go in one side and come out the other?

Nice looking truck by the way!

Re: Ramjet 350 fuel rail hook up

it won't matter... but pass side is clear and free, drivers side has brake pedal linkage and mc (clutch if you have one)
look at the pic above blue fitting on back of pass fuel rail is pressure in
black thing on drivers side fuel rail is the pressure relief out

the back of the distributor has a big plug that hits the firewall, i tubbed my distributor :D
you either need to move the motor forward (oil pan hits mustII x-member) or make a box for the plug to go into

Okay thanks a lot. I don't think I have ever been able to look closely at a ramjet installed in a vehicle.

I have looked at you entire build and man you have some serious skills.

Beautiful work and doing your own thing! Gotta love it...
