1958 apache paint color
 

I just picked up a 1958 apache 3100 and on the drivers side door post is a riveted aluminum plate that says paint 740E. I am guessing thats the paint number but I cant find anything on that number. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me the original color of my truck? Maybe 2 toned? Thanks in advance to all that lend a hand. neveridle

try sending a pm to foot stomper. I think he had the colour chips for his apache.

You didn't happen to flip the numbers. It doesn't show a 740 but shows a 704 That would be Polar green for 58 http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...nuf=GM&rows=50
