What to look for with a 2000 GMC 2500 4x4 extended cab

Hi Guys,

I have a chance to buy a 2000 GMC 2500 4x4, for a good price. What should I know or be looking for when I go out to look at it? Any weaknesses I should know about? It has a 6" lift, how are they for minor off road trips (no rock crawling or deep mudding). Thanks for the tips.

Cheers,

Rod

Only thing that comes to my mind is check the tie rods. Even if they are good I would still beef them up before putting the offroad to the test.
