5 on 4.5 front rotors?

Anybody ever seen these for our trucks?

5 on 4.5 is a Ford bolt pattern. Ours are 5 on 5 and S-10's are 5 on 4 3/4.

I transplanted a different rear end onto my truck, it has a 5 on 4.5 lugs, i was curious if front rotors are easily available to match this for our trucks.

You can get the bolt pattern re-drilled in the front rotors to match or buy wheels w/split pattern holes, or re-drill rear axles.

I've been thinking about different bolt patterns for our trucks for some time.

The reasons;

(a)I have a real nice set of '86 16" IROC camaro (5x4.75) wheels that I would like to use on a 67-72 chevy truck. Havn't seen it yet but I think it would look pretty cool
Opinions on this???

(b)Many people use 9" ford rears. The linc versailles rear end is 5x4.5. I think some MOPAR rears are 5x4.5 also.

The 5x4.75 bolt pattern is not so hard to deal with. There is a kit that uses pre 71 spindles and bearing spacers to adapt camaro/chevelle rotors. Then redrill the rear axels to the 5x4.75 bolt pattern

5x4.5 may be a little harder to deal with, there may not be enough room on the axel flange to redrill to a larger bolt pattern. Also, what front rotor could be used? mustang ll ??? maybe a different spindle/rotor combo ???( I think this was the original question, sorry no help here)

Seems like the answer would be as stated above to redrill the front rotors, but the hub diameter may be a little big for some wheels to fit over. Something to consider when adapting different wheels.

When I had my stock 12" truck rotors re-drilled to the car 5x4.75 pattern I had the hub turned down @ the same time.

SCOTI, good idea. What'd it cost ya?

Some of the Lincoln rears have a 5x5 pattern.

I put a Chrysler 9.25" rear under my truck because it was freakin massive, had disc brakes and was pretty damn cheap, $200. I thought about converting the rears to a 5x5 pattern, but then you also have to have the rotors drilled as well. I called a few places about redrilling the axles, but nobody round here said they could. I think that it would be much cheaper to get the front rotors drilled than doing it twice in the rear. OK, that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean.

I had a machine shop that does fab work for the dairy plant I work for do it for a favor. I think places like Moser get around 100 bucks to change bolt pattern & turn hubs down (2-rotors)but I'm not 100% sure on that price.

Turning the hub down may or may not be nessacary. Some wheels are "hubcentric" and others are "lugcentric" (like my new popular hotrodding lingo??) If the wheels i get are hubcentric then i'd have to machine the hub to match the wheel. If their lug centric then just make sure the wheel will fit over the hub.
