'71 tail light harness plug ?suppliers
I'd like to drive my truck while I work on the rear frame and also when I sand and prime/seal the bed.
Does any of the vendors that supply parts to our trucks sell the plug that connects the rear wiring that goes to the tail lights/back up lights with a pig tail. So I can just wire trailer lights while I do the work? Rather not buy a whole harness only to cut it up for this.. Any idea? |

You can use individual wire terms & a length of trailer wire to rig them up.

Look inside that plug. There are 4 wire connections in there. I can't remember if they are male or female, but just get some of the appropriate version (get the kind with a plastic sleeve on them) crimp on some wires and connect them to each of the four connectors inside the plug. It's somewhat redneck, but should work.
Another option would be to find someone who has a junk truck that would send you just that plug end with a few inches of each wire sticking out. |

Looks like somebody is selling the plug in the for sale section

I would just get the hoppy adapter that plugs in and reseals the harness ends and has a four flat out to your trailer plug.
