YouTube Channels
I was just thinking about some interesting YouTube channels I follow and thought it might be an interesting topic of discussion. I'll start it off with one I just barely discovered - a guy by the name of Mario Wienerroither has a series he calls Musicless Musicvideo. It's a parody of music videos, where he takes the music out and adds sound:

Re: YouTube Channels
Here's a good one that I haven't kept up with recently:
https://www.youtube.com/c/SailingEmeraldSteel/videos These folks have quite a story. He escaped the Iron Curtain when he was about 18, came to the US and made and lost a fortune building houses, bought a restaurant, and married the daughter of the former owners who stayed on to help. Then they sold it and built a steel sailboat by themselves, and have been living aboard and sailing around the world 30+ years. |

I used to sometimes go out on recoveries with my friends in CO. Their MO was Hi-Lift jacks and planks. Hardly ever pulled anything. I think they were trying to teach folks to help themselves. |
Re: YouTube Channels
Well, on the other side - here is just about the stupidest "off-road" video I've seen:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I_yz80B6Lo One evening back in 1989, we drove up the west side of Tincup Pass in our 1965 C/10 (230-6 & four speed). Funny thing was we met a young couple in a 1969 Impala coming down. They scraped a little the first 1/4 mile down the west side, but going up the east side they had no idea any of it wasn't suitable for cars. Of course I had been over it many times before that so I knew exactly what to expect. One time I took my stock 1973 K/20 up "the hard way" and it was a bit exciting but really the truck rolled right over the rocks like it was no big deal. I guess it is worse now. It's weird to watch this video now because this area was literally my back yard for quite a few years :) Edit: also, that's not a shelf road  |

Tugboat captain in the New York waters. As a non-boat guy, this Captain does a decent job of 'splaining things.
