For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake and turn signal lights.

NOTICE: ALL PRICES ARE LISTED BELOW

Here's a pair of my LED brake lights. When you turn on your headlights half the rows light up, and when you brake or hit the turn signals the other rows come on. I designed them to be plug-and-play. Meaning there are no wiring changes that need to be made. The only change necessary to run them is the addition of an electronic flasher. That can be bought at any O'Reily's for $9. Each light consists of 120 LED's for a total of 240 LED's per pair. The individual led's are rated at 2500mcd. They are plenty bright. As bright or brighter than the 1157 bulb. These LED's are rated at 100,000 hours. So pretty much they will outlast both you and the truck :D They pop right in and completely fill the entire factory lense. I now paint the boards white, so they look great behind clear lenses. All my lights come with a one year guarantee against defects. If anything goes wrong with them, just send them back and i will fix them free of charge. I would like $90 plus shipping. If you have any other questions just PM me. Thanks alot!!
Justin (724x4a/cchevy)

Those look great. I liked the ones you brought to the board meet, too. I might be interested in the near future, but not quite yet.

p.s., I still have that overhead console if you want it... you could have it for a song...

I might sing a song for ya when I come for the door. Liked the pic you had earlier, but need to see it in person.

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

I will get you guys a movie and some better on truck pictures. Im probably going to be away from the computer this weekend. I will get back to you guys after labor days. I really dont know if i will be able to take orders right now. Im a sophmore here at University of Missouri-Columbia and my class schedule is pretty hectic and i dont have a lot of free time. I may only be able to let everyone know when i have a set and the first to speak up will get them. I dont want to sound like i dont want to sell them, because i definately do! but i just cant keep up with orders. I have been keeping tabs of who wants what and as i am able to make them i will PM people. I hope everyone understands, but this dorm room isnt a mass production facility. Thanks alot!!!

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

Do you make custom ones? I have a 71 gremlin I would love to have led tail lights. I could supply a housing and lenses for you to use for development.

I am going to show this to my fiancée so she can get me a set for the truck for christmas

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

IAFF2407, I can make you a set for your truck no problem, but im not certain yet if the lenses are the same between trucks and burbs. I dont have any burb brake lenses yet, so i can't compare them. If you could take some measurements of the inside of your lense and make sure they are the same as your truck, then we are in business. Let me know your findings!!

68c-10, I do custom sets. I have done them for everythign from a 55 chevy, 46 ford, 40 ford panel truck, to a 40 chevy school bus (six volt) :D The main thing i need is your lense and a picture of the housing behind the lense. I would have to have the lenses in hand before i could give you a price.

Justin.
P.S. I think im getting faster at making these :D

Burb lenses are not flush. The rear panel slants back at about 10-15 degrees and the lenses extend outward an inch or so, with the outer surface vertical. I think truck LED's might work but the LEDs might have to be angled slightly downward.

How much for shipping to 76116, what is the turn around on these? In other words how many people would be in front of me.

Thanks

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

Well Primered_69, you are third person in line. I have to make two sets for IAFF2407 and a set for a AMC Gremlin. I would say within a month, it all depends on how my classes are going and homework/exams. Shipping will be around $7.00. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks
Justin

I'd be interested in a pair of reverse lights what is the price?

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

I have a set of reverse lights made, they will be $58 shipped. PM me. I can send you pictures of the reverse lights. Also, I thought i would give you guys a better shot of how the brake lights look behind lenses. I took them in my room with the lights on, so thats how bright and noticable they are in broad daylight. Right now i am half done with IAFF2407's brake lights, Im waiting on more LED's to come in the mail. Then i will start on the Gremlin lights when the lenses arrive.

You do a nice job on those:metal: . Are you going to be making the amber ones for the front bumpers and grilles?. The guy who made my Caddy style tail lights was making the fronts with the Bowtie in them that looked pretty cool.

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

I have considered doing the 69-70 blinkers, but i havent yet. Main thing is that i dont have any yellows. I have about 150, but I'm supposed to do a set of front blinkers for dad's 55 someday..... :D Eventually i will do some blinkers, but not yet.

Re: For sale: Hand-Made Custom LED Brake lights.

LED Man,

Those look pretty nice. Are they just clear LEDs? Did not know how a red LED would show up under a red lens. Do you just solder an old bulb for the pigtail? i might have to consider some of those. Just down on my project list though.
