isolator with multi position switch
Hi gang,
How would I wire up the switch in pic A to work with relay isolator in pic B? A: https://www.bluesea.com/products/300...ith_AFDhttp:// B: http://www.nvx.com/bir500-500-amp-relay-isolator/ I am running the starter and truck off the primary battery, and have the winch and auxiliary components running off the auxiliary battery. I want to isolate the batteries, charge them both at the same time, yet be able to manually switch between them in case the primary ever goes dead and I need to use the aux to jump the truck, and turn them both off if necessary. |

Re: isolator with multi position switch
I was poking around on the Blue Sea site and found this. It might do everything you want in a single unit, without a separate switch. It also allow self-jump starting without getting out of the driver's seat:

Re: isolator with multi position switch
You can do all of that with a starter solenoid and a remote switch inside the cab. Obviously, the difference is that you would need to energize the solenoid to charge the aux battery.
