I dont know what the cost of that is but I know a man here in AZ that does that, last time I was at his shop he had a MBZ 300 gullwing he was dipping.

ima try that wet sand blasting idea, with a power washing. seems just right since i have the tools and its right up my alley "cheap" and you still get great results!!!

Best way to have at it... elbow grease.. Just pay attention to all the small tight corners and holes,,, go slow,, pay attention to details..

dude i use a microscope when i block sand, so tiny detail is a given... didnt say it turns out as nice with as much effort as i put in,but i try.

they sale vht very high temp clear 2000 degrees

i do have a great gal, she is part of all aspects of both builds. besides its her burban!!! also got a giftcard so ima buy 2 angle grinders so we both can work on the frame, once the body comes off. her ma even made me my own truck theme blanket...

ima use krylon, but champagne nuvo is the closest i've seen to fawn. low gloss with metallics. i will post a pic...

i used to "pistachio" during my gauge cluster rebuild, matched perfect to factory. of course i stole it from another forum member!!!
