K10 versus K5 value

I'm fairly new to these trucks having bought my 1970 Blazer early last year. What
Is the value of the trucks in comparison to the Blazer from the same year if they are both in similar condition?

No, the Blazers always seem to be more than the trucks.

Way fewer Blazers were made than trucks. Just by simple supply and demand they are worth more than the trucks if condition and options are comparable. Obviously a stripper Blazer in bad shape won't be worth what a Cheyenne Super truck loaded with all the options in good shape would be worth.

Interesting there is a little used car lot near me with a pretty nice K10. They don't seem very easy to find around here. Thought about offering my Blazer up as trade but would probably ask for some cash also. Appreciate the feedback.

Re: K10 versus K5 value

K/5s being a unitized body that was prone to rust makes solid survivors far harder to find. SWB K/10s were lower production, yet an easier truck to survive, repair, etc. because parts from more common variations will swap. So,clean rust free K/5s hold a higher value. A SWB K/10 frame is more valuable than a K/5 frame because you can build a pickup off that frame with available parts (and K/10 SWBs were low production) and there are more surviving K/5 frames than bodies

Re: K10 versus K5 value

I'd take a K5 over the K10 SWB any day.
I had a 1970 SWB K10 which I recently sold, being a 4x4 burb guy I really missed not having a back seat. Someday I will get a K5.

K5's around here bring a premium over a comparable pickup.

When I was selling my k10, I always asked the people coming to look at it what they were seeing out there on the market. They all said they wanted a K5, but the prices were much higher than the pick ups.
