Also, what does the Keystone Light motor redline at?:jest:

The nickle kick panel was bought as is. I put maskin tape on it, so I wouldnt scratch the finish, while doin all the cuttin.

Got the guages at O'Rielly's. They are Eiquus (sp?).

Mine is a 63' so the dash is a bit different. I do have the factory tach. It is just a mater of changing the color from Black/White to Silver/Black.

I installed Dakota's Digital Gauges in a 56 Chevy, and didn't like it when in the sun. It was very hard to read. They looked cool though.

for guys that like to run after market gauges, dimple dies(chasie punches) work great they make a hole and a resess that alows the gauge to fit flush and looks realy finished.

my .02

(and sorry i dont have pic of the ones i have done, old comp died:(

Ummmmm

I just did this... When I added up the cost of the gauges... etc. it wasn't much more, and wiring was unbelievably easy... saved a lot of time... especially everytime I have to remove it an put it back.. one ribbon cable.. oh and no problem in the sun... and dim works perfectly with lights...

Anyone know where I can get that machine turned looking stuff uncut? I'd like it for my dash, but mine's WAY different than stock gauge layout...

Call Haneline. I bet they will make a special one for you. At least the old owner would. Give them a try.
