upper control arms 67-72
 

Are there any differences in the upper control arms between the drum brake truck and the disc brake trucks? I know the control arm shafts are all the same, but didn't know about the arms.

All 67-72 UPPER's are interchangeable.

Thanks Keith I though that was correct, but I have stepped off into the deep end before on just such a thought!! My 72 needs upper control arm bushings on one side so I thought that I would pull them off of my 69 to just rebuild them with ball joints and everything all at the same time then through them at it and be done with minimal down time. So Thanks again.

Let me be clear,... the upper a-arm is the same,... the balljoints will be different.
So get the balljpoint that matches the spindle you are using.

Got it thats what I have 72 upper ball joints and control arm shaft kits for the disc brake spindle, just wanted to use the 69 A-Arms so that I could install the new parts and be ready when I tear down the 72 to replace all of the this. Then if I ever get back to the 69 I can use those A-Arms there with the appropriate parts. Thanks again.

Just wanted to add to this so somebody else doesn't go through what I did (put the upper control arms on the wrong sides) just so you know, the rubber
"Snubber" (bumper goes towards the rear of the control arm, not the front, if you do this, there is no way to adjust the caster. the lower control arms are a
"No Brainer" as the lower shock bracket is on the rear side of the control arm and it would be obvious that it wouldn't work.
