Who's on 454ss wheels?

AKA Sport/Sierra GT wheels. You know the ones. I'm wanting to put a set on my truck, but don't know what size tires to get. So post up a pic or two along with your drop info and tire size. Thanks in advance ;)

Thanks for the pics guys...anybody else?

Also...there's somebody close to me selling a nice set with GMC centers...would these be sufficient to convert them to chevrolet?

Edit for anybody who finds this in the future, see post 29;)

They'd be good enough for me. I wish they made them like that with blue bowties. I just like blue better than red.

BigMac, I was hoping you'd make an appearance in here. Do you have any rubbing issues from the fatter tires?

Haven't had any in the front because I rolled the fender lips. Had a minor and I mean very minor rub on the back mainly because I was hauling a 400+ pound oak tv armoire. So I made a little room on the back fender lips with a Dermel tool. Just in case I every haul anything heavy in the back again.

first picture is with 275/60/15's in front and they would have rubbed. so i went with 245/60/15 in the front and 275/60/15 in the rear. might go a little bigger in front next time.

Re: Who's on 454ss wheels?

OG, is that a 4 inch drop in front? Spindles + 2" springs? I'm leaning toward the 275/60s, but I'll eventually have spindles + 1" springs.

And you have a killer truck, by the way. :metal:

well it is a djm 5/6 drop with a 4.3 v6 in the pictures. so the front is 3"springs and 2" spindles. i did a v8 swap and it didn't come down anymore then that. i am thinking of cutting half a coil off to get rid of the front gap.this picture is when i first got it and it had 275/60 on all four with 2" front contro larms and 4" rear shackles and hangers. it cleared great. with going to the 5" drop it would have hit the fender!

$200 is a pretty decent price.
$250 is a fair price.
$300 is pushing it.
Anything over $300 and you really need to want them.
