All suspension parts are installed except for the panhard bar. Nathan at Porterbuilt did an excellent job! Great service and helped me through the install when I had questions. I still need to tighten down the rest of the steering components and finish installing the front rotors and on to the air tubing, fuel line and brake lines.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks! This site keeps us pushing forward, slowly but surely.

Updates:

Suspension is complete now minus some adjusting. I have the fuel line and brake lines installed. I am having a hard time finding the correct banjo bolts for my calipers... I am looking for 7/16" but the local stores seem to only have the metric version. The cab is now almost complete and hopefully will be going to the body shop to get smoothed and primed.
I still have so much to get done and sometime it feels like I am moving at a snails pace but we are making some progress.

There was the usual rust around the blower opening, wire tray, and along the firewall. I had a shop put the rockers and new cab corners in but I smoothed firewall. I found a significant amount of rust in the cowl area under the driver and passenger side. I wish I would have done the cab corners and rockers myself now that I did the firewall but with no experience I wanted it to be correct the first time so I let an experienced shop do that work.
Thanks for the comments!

I finally have the cab mounted on the frame. This is a huge milestone for my son and I. We have had a trying year this year and it has taken allot of time and money away from our project. Anyways please give me some feed back on how you think it looks.
Thanks

Originally I wanted to go with the new Lexus Blue but now seeing the cab on the chassis I may black it out like my Tahoe but use the Hot Rod flat black with some nice pinstripes. Still deciding thou so I may change my mind five or six more times. We are going to finish putting it together and drive it for a bit to work out the bugs and make sure there are no more body mods we want to make before we spend the money on the finish paint.
Thanks again for looking

Thanks a bunch for the compliment! We still have a long way to go but just seeing the cab mounted on the chassis makes me feel like we are making some headway.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes I did the exhaust with the help of a couple welders at work. I fit the angle's and miters along with the H pipe and tacked it by myself and took it into the guys at work and they welded it up for me in a couple of hours. It turned out very well.
Thanks again.

Matt

Thank you very much! Yes they are doing a great job with keeping me on track. They are beginning to know my tool box more than I am:).

Your not to far away, if your out this way stop buy. I could always use some opinions from experienced guys.

Wow, you're doing a great job! I like the combination of parts you're using. I'm jealous of the exhaust and driveshaft, those are the two big things I don't have for my project!

Have you seen the Ohio truck meet coming up on August 7th? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=391083

It seems Trenton is only about 1/2 hour away, we'll have to ge together sometime... especially when both our trucks are on the road

Most definitely! Anytime your out this way come on out and shoot the breeze or whatever works for me. Like I said I could use a hand from time to time and I am in the same boat with funds so I feel ya there. I have a stock drive shaft that might save you some cash if your interested. It came off of my 67 and it had the 3 on the tree. It could be cut down to fit your t350 and would save you a bunch. Shoot me a PM with you number and I can get you more info on some parts I have to help you out.

Thanks for the comments!

Specs... Let me see if I can remember this correctly. The wheels are Boss 338 18" all the way around. 18x8 in the front with 18x9.5 rear with 5 1/4" BS.
The tires I went with are the new BFG T/A KDW. The fronts are 245-40 ZR18 and the rears are 285-40-ZR18.

I could have went with a larger diam. wheel but I decided to jump on the group discount for these. I am happy with them just need to finish up the front end (need a small spacer to allow the wheel cap to fit).
