Pics of 71-72 proportioning valve needed
1 Attachment(s)
So I'm gone through everything in my braking system and still have some slight dragging up front, only after I've been driving a few min and things are hot.
It's looking like the proportioning valve which giving that truck sat for a few years I'm not surprised. My truck is a 1970 which originally had 4 wheel drums. Previous owner upgraded 6-5 lug and hence I got front discs. Parts where from a donor 1971 c10. Here's a pic of my proportioning valve. Only one line for front and one for rear. Please post a pic of your proportional valve from a 71 or 72. I want to make sure I have the right one. Thanks. That is a distribution block for 70 and earlier. It is not a prop valve.
it looks like your master cylinder may also be for drum/drum is one reservoir bigger than the other? |

If you are searching for one you might try typing in "Combination Valve" instead of "proportioning valve". LockDoc |
