Rain water passenger side inside firewall/floor board, 1981 k20
I dont have any carpet, stripped out, metal floor
When it rains water drips/running down from inside firewall to floor. Felt/cardboard insulation damp on inside firewall too. I was going to pull the cowl piece( between hood and windshield) and plastic screens to search for leak source Anyone know what exactly is leaking rain water in? |

My first suspect would be the seam above the blue arrow.
Second place would be inside the cowl. Attachment 2313757 |

Also check the windshield seal, especially the corners.

I'm working on this issue currently I pulled the cowl and found a bunch of dirt and such.
Also the seal between the floor and the firewall is/was cracked and brittle i have taken all of that out and working on putting rust inhibitor, POR-15 and 3M sealant down. I'm not totally done but definatly sure this isn't helping the water flow out. here is a link to my post with a few pics of what i found. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=848593 |

I've had one leak thru the a/c housing stud going thru the firewall as well.
